Malta Environment Foundation Brochure

Introducing the Malta Environment Foundation (MEF) – a response to the urgent need for safeguarding Malta’s unique biodiversity and exceptional endemism in the face of mounting challenges such as unsustainable economic models, overdevelopment, and pollution. MEF is designed to support the dedicated individuals and organizations working at the grassroots level to build a resilient environment and future for Malta. MEF works by channelling funding from philanthropy and private sector and directing it to existing, inspiring environmental organisations.

With a strong commitment to intersectionality and collaboration, MEF aims to amplify the impact, scale, and agency of these organizations, fostering an environment where Malta’s nature and communities can thrive harmoniously.
